How to apply Ultra Definition Mascara step by step — a short 48-second walkthrough.

  1. Place the brush right at the roots of your upper lashes and hold for a few seconds.
  2. To separate the lashes, pull the brush from root to tip in a zigzag motion.
  3. Apply the second coat before the first dries; a coat applied after it dries clumps.
  4. If you use a lash curler, use it before mascara — curling lashes with mascara on breaks them.
